Lean Product Strategy
Americas & Europe
Course 1 of 6
This fall, build the product management skills the AI era and your next job demand
The Lean Product Strategy course teaches you how to turn strategy into a set of clear choices and testable hypotheses, using the Lean Strategy Canvas. This is the first course in a six-part sequence:
- Lean Product Strategy
- Objectives and Key Results
- Lean Product Management
- Lean Product Discovery
- Storytelling Superpowers for Persuasive Conversations
- Building AI Products with Lean Product Management
This course delivers real, usable skills and value entirely on its own, but the full sequence is where the real transformation happens. Each course builds on the last, so we recommend completing all six for the most comprehensive set of AI-era product skills. Whichever path you choose, complete the course and pass a short assessment to unlock a certification you can showcase on LinkedIn and beyond.
These classes have been created by Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden, award-winning authors and recognized design and product thought leaders, who wrote the books Lean UX, Outcomes Over Output, and Who Does What By How Much?, the OKR playbook.

Additional Information
What problem does this course address?
Strategy in most organizations is treated as a planning exercise. Teams spend weeks writing plans that are out of date before the work begins. AI integration has made this harder. Strategy can shift in months, not years, and a plan that can't adapt that fast stops being useful. This course teaches you to treat strategy as a hypothesis instead of a fixed plan, so you leave with something you can act on, measure, and update as you learn.
Why this course, and why now?
AI makes it cheaper and faster to build almost anything. That capability alone risks raising the amount of output your team creates infinitely. This means that output alone no longer proves your team's work mattered or delivered value. That's why we've refreshed this course for how work happens now, refining the frameworks and examples to match the reality your team is working in. This course is where that shift starts. Once your team can set a clear strategy and test it like a hypothesis, every course after it, OKRs, delivery, discovery, communication, builds on that foundation.
Who is this training for?
- Product and business leaders who want to focus their teams on what's most important right now with the ability to adjust course as market demands shift
- Senior product managers responsible for turning strategy into execution
- Teams whose plans go stale before the work even starts
- Leaders building teams who need the full sequence of AI-era product management skills
- Anyone measured on output who wants to prove impact instead
