Lean Product Management
Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa
Course 3 of 6
This fall, build the product management skills the AI era and your next job demand
The Lean Product Management course teaches you the essentials of modern, highly-effective product management, from defining strategy and validating a business model to prioritizing a backlog, moving fast on execution, and communicating value to stakeholders. This is the third course in a six-part sequence:
- Lean Product Strategy
- Objectives and Key Results
- Lean Product Management
- Lean Product Discovery
- Storytelling Superpowers for Persuasive Conversations
- Building AI Products with Lean Product Management
This course delivers real, usable skills and value entirely on its own, but the full sequence is where the real transformation happens. Each course builds on the last, so we recommend completing all six for the most comprehensive set of AI-era product skills. Whichever path you choose, complete the course and pass a short assessment to unlock a certification you can showcase on LinkedIn and beyond.
These classes have been created by Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden, award-winning authors and recognized design and product thought leaders, who wrote the books Lean UX, Outcomes Over Output, and Who Does What By How Much?, the OKR playbook.

Additional Information
What problem does this course address?
Many product managers are early to mid-career, or transitioning into product from business, UX, or engineering, without a shared, practical foundation in how to actually run product work day to day. This course gives you the full, hands-on toolkit: from defining product-market fit, to writing actionable OKRs, to replacing feature-based roadmaps with agile, outcome-driven plans, so you can manage a team and a product to outcomes, not outputs.
Why this course, and why now?
This is an engaging, hands-on workshop that combines lecture, team exercises, videos, real-world case studies, and facilitated discussion. You'll learn to define specific business problems for your teams rather than writing specification documents, identify the risks and assumptions standing in the way of solving them, and write testable hypothesis statements that drive discovery and learning. It builds directly on the strategy and goal-setting foundation from the earlier courses in this sequence.
Who is this training for?
- Product Managers (early to mid-career) looking to sharpen their day-to-day practice
- Associate Product Managers / Junior Product Managers building their foundational skill set
- Aspiring Product Managers transitioning into product roles from business, UX, or engineering
What will happen in class?
This workshop is limited to 25 participants. Through an engaging combination of lecture, hands-on team exercises, videos, real-world case studies, and facilitated discussion, you'll practice defining business problems, prioritizing backlogs, writing hypotheses, designing experiments, and having effective customer conversations. Each session builds on the last, creating accountability and meaningful peer connections through shared learning experiences.
