Adding DevSecOPs to your Python application pipelines - Eric Anthony

Security is moving left these days and incorporating security into your automated pipelines is crucial. I'll quickly discuss several python-specific tools and components, including static scans, dynamic scans, dependancy chain evaluators and others, that help detect and even fix security issues before they come up. I'll review some techniques for incorporating these into your automated pipelines including tools to speed up remediation efforts when vulnerabilities are discovered.

Better C++ Integration With Python Through Pyllars - John Rusnak

Solutions for integration of Python with C++ are often not "pure". They require commenting code in certain ways or manual upkeep of intermediate specifications. This talk focuses on using the latest features of C++ to develop a method for full autogener

Current Python bindings to C++ require you to write configurations, embed comments or re-code an interface all over again. Pyllars is a solution that makes such bindings natural and easy, with little configuration or setup. Pyllars is not yet ready for release, but has come a long way. In this talk I will explain the compexities involved with creating such a binding, and show the progress made in supporting many of the features of C++.

Extreme Bikesharing: How I used Python to plan an epic Ford GoBike trip - Jonas Neubert

How do you get the most bike for the buck out of a $10 day-pass for the Bay Wheels (formerly "Ford GoBike") bike share system? This talk is about how I used constraint programming, mapping and routing APIs, public bike share datasets, map visualization libraries, and a whole lot of Python to plan an epic 13-hour-long 121-leg bike ride around the East Bay.
