Kaigi on Rails is an approachable, inclusive, web-focused tech conference, designed to lower the barrier of entry to participating in conferences. The core concept behind Kaigi on Rails is "a web-focused technology conference that can be enjoyed by everyone, from beginners to experienced professionals".
As the name suggests, the conference focuses on Rails, but it also covers a wide range of other web development related topics, including front-end, protocols, and more. The organizing team will continue their efforts to ensure Kaigi on Rails remains a practical and useful conference for participants in their day-to-day work.

Kaigi on Railsのコアコンセプトは 「初学者から上級者までが楽しめるWeb系の技術カンファレンス」 です。
Kaigi on Railsは技術カンファレンスへの参加の敷居を下げることを意図して企画されています。また、名前の通りRailsを話題の中心に据えるカンファレンスではありますが、広くWebに関すること全般（例えばフロントエンドやプロトコルなど）についてもカバーすることで参加者の知見を深め、また明日からの仕事に役立てていただければと考えています。

Keynote Update
Dave Thomas, who was scheduled to be our keynote speaker, is unable to travel to Japan due to unforeseen circumstances. We sincerely apologize to all those who had been looking forward to his talk. We are currently determining our next steps. Once details are finalized, we will provide updates.
About Tickets
Please present your QR code at the entrance. If you purchased a student ticket, please present proof of student status at that time. You will not be admitted without proof.
Please wear your name tag after entering the venue. It will serve as proof of your eligibility to participate in Kaigi on Rails 2026. If your name tag cannot be confirmed, a staff member may approach you. If you are unable to present your name tag, you may be asked to leave the venue.
Those who submit proposals can purchase tickets at a discounted rate. Additionally, accepted proposal authors will be allocated speaker tickets. Proposal submitters should check for announcements from the organizer.
Speakers and booth staff will receive separate notifications from the organizers.
Complimentary tickets for Rails maintainers
If you are a member of the Rails Core team, the Committers, or the Issues team as listed on the Ruby on Rails community page, we would be glad to offer you a complimentary ticket.
Please get in touch with us at info@kaigionrails.org rather than purchasing a ticket, and we'll take care of the arrangements.
"Supporter" ticket
Kaigi on Rails 2026 has introduced a "Supporter" ticket category. This ticket differs from the General ticket only in that it includes access to the official after-party.
Refunds
No refunds will be issued for tickets. Ticket transfers are the responsibility of the ticket holder.
Scholarship program
Kaigi on Rails 2026 offers a program to support student participation fees through scholarship sponsors. For more information, please wait for further details from the scholarship sponsors.
Shot-term visa support
We are keen to welcome international attendees to Kaigi on Rails 2026! If you’d like to attend but require a short-term visa to visit Japan, get in touch with us!
Please note that the deadline for requesting visa support is August 31st. Due to processing times, we are unable to guarantee assistance after this date.
Official Party
The official party will be held on the 17th.
To participate in the official party, you must purchase a official party ticket in addition to the main event ticket.

Childcare Support
During the event period, we plan to provide childcare support.
Those interested should mark the dates they may need childcare. Note that these responses will be used for planning purposes with service providers. However, actual registration and booking will be required separately. (Details will be provided at a later date.)
Due to the number of participants requesting childcare support and individual circumstances, not all interested parties may receive childcare assistance.
Official photos
To document and share memories of Kaigi on Rails 2026, we plan to publish photos taken by the official photographers during the event.

Receipts
Receipts can be issued from the order confirmation email. They include the registration number of a qualified invoice issuer and are in a format that can be treated as a qualified invoice.
The issuer is the Nihon Ruby-no-kai, a general incorporated association.

基調講演を予定していたDave Thomas氏が、諸事情により来日できなくなりました。楽しみにされていた皆様に深くお詫び申し上げます。現在、本件への今後の対応を慎重に検討・調整しております。詳細が決まり次第、改めてお知らせいたします。
チケットについて
入場時にQRコードの提示をお願いします。学生チケットを購入された場合は、その時点で学生であることを証明するものの提示をお願いします。提示がない場合は入場していただくことができません。
入場後は名札を携帯してください。Kaigi on Rails 2026への参加資格を証明するものとなります。名札が確認できない場合、スタッフからお声がけさせていただくことがあります。名札を提示できない場合、退場していただく場合がございます。
プロポーザルを提出していただいた方々に対しては割引価格でチケットを購入していただくことができます。また、プロポーザルが採択された方々にはスピーカー用チケットが用意されます。プロポーザルを提出した方々は運営からの連絡をご確認ください。
登壇者の皆様、ブース展示スタッフの皆様につきましては、別途運営からの連絡をご確認ください。

Supporterチケットについて
Kaigi on Rails 2026では、Supporterという区分のチケットを用意しました。このチケットには、公式懇親会の参加権が含まれていること以外は、Generalチケットとの差異はありません。
払い戻しについて
チケットの払い戻しに関しては行いません。チケットの譲渡に関しては、ご自身の責任において行っていただくようお願いします。
学生支援
Kaigi on Rails 2026では、Scholarship sponsorによる学生への参加費支援制度を用意しています。詳しい情報は、Scholarship sponsorからの情報公開をお待ちください。
短期滞在ビザ支援
私たちは、Kaigi on Rails 2026に国際的な参加者を歓迎いたします。
日本への短期滞在ビザが必要な方でKaigi on Rails 2026の参加を希望される方は、お早めにご連絡ください。ビザ支援の申請期限は8月31日です。審査に時間がかかるため、この期限を過ぎた後の支援は保証できません。
公式懇親会
公式懇親会は17日に開催します。
公式懇親会に参加するには、本編の参加チケットに加えて、懇親会チケットを購入していただく必要があります。
