December 2016: The Silicon Valley Mindset

2nd December 2016 : The Silicon Valley Mindset

Join us for the Irish Tech Lunch & Learn series, kindly hosted by Dogpatch Labs!

In this month's event, we'll be talking about "The Silicon Valley Mindset". We all hear about how Silicon Valley has something special about it, but what is it exactly?

Blackbox Connect is a 2 week program which empowers founders of 'born global' startups from around the world to learn, collaborate, and grow toward their full potential, through immersion in the Silicon Valley ecosystem.

The most recent program was powered by Google for Entrepreneurs, with a record 3 Irish startups taking part, out of 16 from across the globe - as well as Dogpatch Labs' own Liz McCarthy who took on the role of Partner in Residence! Come to learn from their experience, and discuss how Irish startups can strengthen their relationship with this part of the world, and bring an element of the open culture which supports a rising tide.

Doors Open @ 12.15pm, Talk begins at 12.30pm sharp

Additional Information

The Irish Tech Lunch & Learn series is an opportunity to meet new people and discuss the state of the industry, but without having to stay in town all evening, since we all have things to do outside of work!

We'll aim to cover a broad range of topics with a mix of formats, from presentations, Q&A, panel discussions etc.

Arrive to CHQ, grab food from one of the myriad of options there, then head to the event and watch the talk while eating your lunch!
