Coaches: After you select your ticket, you will be asked to fill in a survey where you can choose a technology you feel comfortable with. If they're all same, or you focus on something else, use "Other"
Students: After you select your ticket, you will be asked to fill in a survey where you can choose a technology you would like to use (i.e. game engine and/or programming language) and a game you'd like to work on.
Technology choices explained
- Unity with C# - Unity is common in game development for both studies and professional use. C# is language most commonly used with it.
- Unity with JavaScript - Unity is common but its use with JavaScript is not as common
- JavaScript - using HTML5 and canvas to develop
- Python - using pygame or other libraries made for game development
For absolute beginners, we recommend selecting Unity C# and Flappy Bird.
