Bluemont Connection Winter Gravel Series - Ride 3 of 5

Riders will meet and start at the Bluemont Community Center in Bluemont, VA. Plan to arrive at 10:30 and be prepared to roll at 11:00. Riders are responsible for their own transportation to and from the start/finish, and carpooling is encouraged.

There will be two route options: 47 miles and 37 miles. Both routes follow the same course for the first 24 miles, after which the shorter option splits off toward the stop at Doppio Bunny.

Both routes include one resupply stop, with Doppio Bunny in Purcellville at mile 37.9 of Route One and mile 28.4 of Route Two.

The Fine Print: As always, a helmet is required, a gravel/cx/all road bike in good mechanical condition with 32mm or wider tires is recommended, and a chill, positive attitude is preferred. You should have the route loaded onto your GPS device and be prepared to navigate the route on your own if necessary. You are expected to have the items and ability to repair a flat and a smartphone to ensure you're able to make your way back if you become separated from the group.

The Bluemont Connection Winter Gravel Ride Series is a five-part series of progressively challenging rides throughout winter and early spring.
