Space Economy seminar & Job Fair
On Friday 25 March 2022 at 1.30 pm, the Flemish space sector organises in Leuven a seminar on: "The Flemish space economy: inspiring, innovative, stimulating, connecting". Students and other interested parties also have the opportunity to meet companies and organisations from the space sector throughout the day during a job fair!
The seminar takes place in the context of the Belgian Space Week and is organised in the frame of the Flemish space economy impulse programme, Flanders Space. It was originally scheduled for October 2021, but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The seminar is exclusive for companies, professionals and the education sector. Bachelor and master students from a STEM programme with the ambition to start a career in space get a chance to meet Flemish space actors via a job fair the same day on March 25th. The job fair starts at 9.30 am and ends around 6 pm. An overview of the participating employers can be found at the bottom of this page.
During the seminar, Flemish Minister for Innovation Hilde Crevits will present the main focus areas of the Flemish space impulse programme. Astronaut Frank De Winne will also be present and will highlight the recent developments in this fascinating domain. Industry and European Space Agency (ESA) experts complete the programme.
Seminar attendance is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Registrations will close on 18 March 2022. The job fair is open to all without registration.
Already registered last year? Then your registration is automatically redeemed for this new date and you don't need to take any further action!
The seminar will be held in Dutch and in English.
