Soul Care Retreat

Soul Care Retreats are designed to help Vineyard church leaders and senior leadership staff find refreshment, spiritual renewal and space to think, plus opportunities for personal ministry. We hope you will find time to relax, slow down and engage with God away from the usual bustle of church leadership.

Andrew & Mandy Myatt have been leading these Retreats since 2016, with the help of Ellie Carman. They look forward to meeting you and providing a place to find rest and connection with God. Our sessions will focus on experiencing God’s presence and listening for His invitation for connection. Worshiping, as a community and finding intimacy with God in times of personal reflection will refresh your soul and body. Opportunity for an Immanuel Prayer or soaking prayer session will be available.

As the authors of The Sacred Romance stated, “Communion with God is often replaced with activity for God… Given the right plan, everything can be managed … except the heart. The inner life, the story of our hearts, is the life of the deep places within us, our passions and dreams, our fears and our deepest wounds. It is the unseen life, the mystery within … It can not be managed like a corporation. The heart does not respond to principles and programs; it seeks not efficiency but passion.” There will be a blend of joint sessions (all optional), time on your own, plus an opportunity to sign up for individual ministry sessions.

This retreat is for church leaders (senior pastors) and senior leadership staff. Regretfully there is no child care. Your ticket price covers accommodation, meals and refreshments.
