Legacy | Irish Vineyard Leaders' Gathering | 2023

Back in 2018 we began to gather annually as Irish Vineyard Churches to be together as family, to worship, pray and be in the Spirit’s presence and dream about the future.  It quickly became a weekend not to be missed, full of encounters with God, inspiration, and training for leaders from Vineyard Churches on this island. Each time we have come together to celebrate the incredible legacy we have as Vineyard Churches on the island of Ireland, God has met with us powerfully.

After too long of a pause due to the pandemic, we are so excited to announce that Legacy is returning in February of 2023.  We are praying it’s a time of great joy, momentum, and power as we worship, pray for one another and open the Scriptures together.

We are delighted to announce that we have David Ruis joining us.

David is a well-respected worship leader, songwriter and communicator. Together with his wife Anita, he is also known as a church planter and pastor having established churches in Canada and the US within the Vineyard family of churches. David has also been instrumental in seeing Vineyard communities established in Nepal and India. Much of his focus tends to be in indigenous setting working amongst the poor as well as facilitating leadership development and fostering originality in songwriting and the arts in various cultural settings. David has authored 2 books: The Worship God Is Seeking and The Justice God Is Seeking, He and Anita share the role of National Director over the Vineyard Churches within Canada, they currently reside in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

We also have a few other guest speakers and seminar leaders who will be joining us, and we will be announcing those names very soon.  Our sense is that although the speakers and seminars will be great and inspiring, the real joy and power will be as we, all who are leading and serving in our local churches gather together, after so long away. It’s time for the family to come together and laugh, celebrate, pray, worship, and commit again to stewarding the legacy in these lands that Jesus is building, through us, and our churches.

The Legacy gathering will take a slightly different format this year, beginning on Friday evening 3rd February at 7.30pm, continuing on Saturday 4th, with morning, afternoon and evening sessions, finishing at 9.00pm.

Legacy is for you if....you are serving in any leadership capacity in a Vineyard church, or your local community on the island of Ireland, or desire to grow into that place.
