Scan Your City

Turn your vintage photos into digital images!

As part of our month-long My Archive initiative, we're hosting a pop-up scan night to help you convert your analog photographs into digital files for better preservation and easy sharing! Just B.Y.O. photos and memories to share, and we'll take care of the rest.

When

June 20th, 2019 from 7PM-9PM

What to bring and expect

At the moment, we're only able to digitize prints (not slides). We recommend you bring 10-15 photographs to the event. Our team will scan as many photographs as possible and can digitize photographs as large as 11x17. Light refreshments will be provided.

Building accessibility

The event is on the second floor of 155 Rivington Street and there is no elevator.

What is My Archive, anyway?

My Archive is a citywide project that tells the story of NYC through crowd-sourced histories and photographs of New Yorkers. Photos digitized at Scan Your City will have the opportunity to be added to our permanent, citywide archival collection and featured on LinkNYC kiosks.
