Here is your chance to discuss all things thesis-related, hear a little bit about the BL’s EThOS metadata being opened up for research, assigning persistent identifiers through DataCite, ORCID and beyond (this workshop is open to all identifiers!), and more.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Open Access Review

Our skills gap: meeting the challenge

Workshop session led by The Scholarly Communications Competencies Coalition (SC3) and UKCORR: Alison Sutton, Dimity Flanagan, Valerie McCutcheon, Catherine Parker, Nancy Pontika

Which skills are the most important for research support in open access, repository management, publishing advice, bibliometrics and research data management? What skills are we short of? What are the challenges in acquiring them? This is an opportunity to share your ideas and solutions, hear about the progress made by SC3 in this area and how SC3 can assist you.
