An interactive hands-on introduction workshop led by Iain Brighton into PowerShell Desired State Configuration.

Join us to learn the basics of DSC while having fun:

• Architecture v4 and v5
• Configuration documents
• Document authoring
• Composite and partial configurations
• Applying configurations

Iain and the well-known IT professionals Ryan Yates (MVP), Martynas Valkunas (MVP) and Daniel Krebs will be on hand to support you throughout the workshop.

You will receive a "Certificate of Achievement" in various formats to show your boss, colleagues and to post on your LinkedIn profile.

• 12:30 - 13:15: Lunch and networking break

Equipment

You will need to bring a laptop and its charger. We will provide a Windows Server 2016 virtual machine in Azure or AWS for you to partake in the interactive labs.

Catering

A healthy lunch, and coffee, tea, water and snacks will be provided. We will open the bar for alcoholic drinks towards the end of the event.
