UC Carpentries Fall 2022 Workshop Series
Do you want to learn the basics of R or Python coding? How about automating tasks with Bash scripting or making your data tidy (and keeping it that way)?
*UC San Diego, UC Los Angeles, UC Merced, UC Riverside, and UC Berkeley have put together two weeks of Carpentries workshops.*
The 6-Day UC-Joint Carpentries workshop series aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This is a hands-on workshop that will cover basic concepts and tools, including foundational R and Python coding, data management skills, and project version control with Git. The workshops series is designed for novices and you do not need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop. This is a free workshop.
Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
This workshop series is for University of California faculty, graduate students, post-docs, researchers, and other staff.
