Kanban Management Professional

Have you already taken your Kanban System Design (KMP I) course and are ready to learn how to manage Kanban systems? This final two day session is about managing and making decisions using the Kanban Method. You'll expand on your current design knowledge using systems thinking, lean methods, and more to continuously improve your organizational or team systems. You'll walk away with a clear understanding of how to measure and improve the quality and predictability of your systems. Successful completion of this course, along with your previously completed KMP I, will grant you the accredited Kanban Management Professional title.

Itinerary

Class begins at 9:15 AM and ends at 4:45 PM. There will be a 1 hour lunch break around 12 pm.

Instructor

Joey Spooner is an Accredited Kanban Trainer and Kanban Coaching Professional at TriTech Enterprise Systems, Inc. In a 15 year career spanning the communications, insurance, higher education, non-profit, and government sectors, Joey has been a software developer, IT director, strategic analyst, and technical expert. Parking And Public Transportation

The training room is within walking distance (~8 minutes) from the Foggy-Bottom GWU station. Parking is also available within the area and rates may vary. Please use a tool like Parking Panda to find the best available rates and also to reserve a space for your vehicle.

Meals

A continental breakfast that includes bagels, yogurt parfaits, coffee, and juice is served both mornings and snacks are served in the afternoon. The class is invited to go out to lunch with the instructor if they want a good laugh.

Cancellation Policy

Full refunds will be issued for all cancellations occurring at least 5 business days in advance of the event. For cancellations inside 5 business days, a redeemable credit will be issued for use at a future event.
