Research Seminar: Professor Charles Cho
Title: Rethinking ESG-evidence from research trends
Abstract: Does ESG help build a more sustainable world? Drawing on sustainability accounting research, this presentation challenges the assumption that ESG and sustainability mean the same thing. It explores greenwashing and asks whether reporting focused on investors overlooks companies’ impacts on people and the planet. The talk calls for broader accountability, asking a simple but essential question: sustainability for whom?
