Tracksmith Marathon Weekend - London 2024
The 1908 London Olympic Marathon set the standard of 26.2 miles that we run today. Queen Alexandra wanted the race to start on the lawn of Windsor Castle and finish in front of the royal box at the Olympic stadium. What was previously a 25-mile race became, in one royal request, a 26.2 mile one. While the Marathon course in London today follows a different route, its winding course traverses London’s many and varied neighborhoods, treating runners to a breathtaking tour of the city culminating in a royal finish in front of Buckingham Palace.
Back for our third year in our Trackhouse in Marylebone, join us in celebrating this remarkable race all weekend long.
