The POOD II course assumes you’ve taken Sandi’s POOD course and carries on from what you learned there. This course is taught by Sandi Metz.
Using guided exercises, we'll demystify time-tested OO techniques focusing on testing and design, orchestrating object collaboration and application architecture.

Location
The course is in downtown Durham, NC in the beautifully renovated MDC center. According to the New York Times Big Tobacco is dead but Durham is the new cool.
Schedule
The course normally starts around 9am so if you're coming from out of town, you'll want to come in the night before. Class normally ends at 4pm on the last day.
Lodging
The 21c Museum Hotel is just across the street from the MDC Center. Unscripted is a block and a half away. The Marriott City Center is a mere 3 minute walk. And finally, Aloft Durham Downtown is in the heart of the American Tobacco Historic District, a 5 minute walk from MDC.
Transportation
Fly into Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU). Taxi fare to downtown is $30-$35. If you stay downtown you will not need a car.
Food
Bon Appetit magazine describes Durham as the 'Foodiest Small Town In America'. Restaurants in Durham range from the sublime to the extremely local Dame's Chicken and Waffles. We'll provide coffee, lunch and snacks, and you'll be on your own to explore for breakfast and dinner.

The POOD courses are in high demand and typically have a waitlist. In order to be fair to everyone, we’ve implemented the following cancellation policy:
You may cancel up to 30 days before the course. After that there are no refunds, but you can transfer the ticket to someone else.
