The Build the Pipeline Mixer will be held at the AIM Exchange Building on Friday, October 10 from 4pm – 6pm. Students, employers, and IT community leaders are welcome to join.


This event is sponsored by AIM and co-hosted by Omaha Code School and Interface Web School.

AIM is a not-for-profit community organizations that promotes technology to empower people, enhance organizations and create brilliant communities.

Interface Web School and Omaha Code School are two unique Omaha based organizations focused on web developer training. Visit the links provided above for more information on courses, instructors and upcoming terms. Students, graduates and staff from both Omaha Code School and Interface Web School will be present at the Build the Pipeline mixer to answer any questions you may have.

To promote the goal of professional networking in a safe and inclusive environment, we ask students, graduates, event staff and guests to adhere to the following guidelines during this event. These include but are not limited to:

  • Be welcoming, friendly, and patient.
  • Be considerate. Any decision you make will affect other event participants. You should consider those potential consequences when making decisions.
  • Be respectful. We might all experience some frustration now and then, but we cannot allow that frustration to become threatening (physically or verbally) toward others. Walk away from a conversation or situation if you need space.
  • Think before speaking. Remember that sexist, racist, and other exclusionary jokes can be offensive to those around you. Be kind to others, and do not insult or put down another person or organization. Remember that sexist, racist or other exclusionary jokes will not be tolerated at this event and should be reported to event management (see the Reporting Inappropriate Behavior section below for information)

Reporting Inappropriate Behavior

This event is meant to be safe and inclusive. Please approach either Shonna, Sumeet, or Beth if you experienced anything less than that. In return, we promise:

  • To take all harassment reports seriously.
  • To respect your privacy.
  • To remove the source of harassment. This begins with a warning to the offender, followed by physically removing them from the area if harassment continues.
