UX of Dim Sum v2

Let's go yum cha!

Literally meaning "drink tea" in Cantonese, going to yum cha is an important Hong Kong breakfast/brunch tradition and dining experience. For the uninitiated, dim sum can be intimidating. Through a workshop focused on design thinking activities, designers and non-designers alike can practice concept modeling, ethnographic research, and mapping. You get a chance to think about what it means to design for accessibility and usability through a yum cha experience.

This is a uniquely-designed event that focuses on niche experiences. Whether you come only for the food or stay for the workshop, you'll walk away with:

  • A better understanding of design thinking, journey mapping
  • A set of "building blocks" for creating a flow for new experiences
  • Fun ways for understanding user needs
