SGVUX.18 Storytelling in UX
Telling stories about how people use products or services is a key tool in the user experience design toolbox. It can help build empathy, make it easier to share ideas and insights, and get greater buy-in from stakeholders.
Deb Aoki, Senior Experience Designer at Adobe will share tips and real-life examples from her work with companies like eBay, PayPal, Sony Creative Center, Citrix and more, and talk about how her life-long love affair with manga transformed her career in UX design.
Join us on September 1 as she shares her love of stories to show:
- how incorporating storytelling in her work gave her more power and voice,
- how using storyboarding in research and design engaged conversation and participation amongst departments,
- how we can use storyboarding to communicate and engage with users, and
- how we can identify and combat bias through storytelling.
