Fixfest London 2026
Join us on the 11th of July for Fixfest London! 💚🔨
What is Fixfest London?
Some of you may have joined us at Fixfest 2025- our global gathering for fixers, activists, policymakers, educators and more from all over the world.
This mini-edition of Fixfest is all about our London community - a chance for repair groups and volunteers across the capital to connect, learn and share ideas. Everyone is welcome: Fixers, hosts, data collectors, organisers, tea-makers, cake bakers and more!
📍It’s at St Lukes Community Centre in Islington, followed by an evening social @ Shoreditch Park (6pm onwards). Due to limited space, you’ll need a ticket to attend the daytime event.
Our community is doing amazing work. We have our own unique ways of running events and supporting our local communities. There's so much to be proud of.
So what’s the vision?
We’d love for everyone to leave Fixfest feeling:
- Inspired and empowered to try something new and overcome challenges
- Connected to the London community and the wider repair movement
We’re all united by a shared vision- to help people repair, to fix things and to challenge the throwaway economy. How can we work together to build on our success and impact?
Check out our programme preview!
A big thank you to everyone who recently proposed topics through our form. Your ideas have helped shape the programme and ensure it’s as useful as possible for volunteers and groups.

Additional Information
Here are some answers to potential questions you may have ahead of the event.
As plans come together, we’ll update the information below and share the latest information via email.
* Who can attend? What if more than 2 people from my group want to come?
All volunteers are welcome: fixers, hosts, data collectors, organisers, tea-makers, cake bakers and more!
To ensure fair representation from as many groups as possible, tickets will be limited to two per community repair group.
We will be monitoring tickets closely and have activated a waitlist. This will allow more volunteers per repair group to express interest and we’ll release further tickets if spaces become available.
* Will food and refreshments be provided?
We will be providing hot drinks and water throughout the day. We will also be providing lunch and snacks. If you have a reusable water bottle, please bring it!
* Can you cover travel expenses?
Unfortunately, we’re not able to cover travel expenses due to limited funding.
However, tickets will be free and we’re hosting the event at a central location to ensure it’s accessible for everyone and keep travel to a minimum.
* I can't make it. Will sessions be streamed/recorded?
Where possible, we plan to stream/record sessions, but this will depend on the venue and format of sessions.
If it isn’t possible to record sessions, we aim to share presentations used and/or session notes after the event.
* I'm not (yet) involved in a community repair group in London. Can I still come?
Fixfest is primarily aimed at volunteers who’re currently involved in community repair across London. However, we’re keen to welcome those who’re interested in getting involved in local repair events. If you’re not currently volunteering with a group, please still register your interest in hearing updates. If there is availability after tickets have been allocated, we’ll release additional spaces and get in touch.
