Fixfest is a regular global gathering of repairers and tinkerers, activists, policy-makers, thinkers, and companies from all over the world.
For this third edition, we’re meeting in Brussels for Fixfest 2022. We're planning a weekend of discussion, workshops, and more-both with you and by you. Explore the full programme here. Between sessions there will be time to meet new people and form new connections.

We’re delighted to announce Fixfest 2022, an international gathering for community repair in Brussels this autumn. This year’s edition is being organised by The Restart Project in close collaboration with the European Right to Repair Campaign, and Belgian partners Repair Together and Repair & Share.
On Friday the 30th of September, the focus will be on the Right to Repair, with sessions exploring how policy developments in Europe can make repair easier, cheaper and more accessible for everyone. The policy programme is curated by the steering group of the European Right to Repair Campaign.
This will be followed by a weekend of more community-focused workshops and sessions, many of which will be suggested and run by attendees. Most sessions will fall into one of four main themes:
- Repairing in our communities
- The Right to Repair around the world
- Repair in education
- How to repair…

What language(s) will Fixfest be in?
To make Fixfest accessible to an international audience, the main language will be English. However, there will also be some sessions in French and Dutch/Flemish.

How can I travel to Fixfest?
Fixfest will take place in multiple venues in Brussels. But the main venue for Fixfest (Saturday 1 Oct - Sunday 2 Oct) is:

(map link) It's a 10-15 minute walk from Brussels Midi train station, which connects directly to Brussels airport and train stations across Belgium and other major cities such as London, Paris, Cologne, Amsterdam and more.

How can I travel around Brussels?
