Introduction to Sashiko and Visible Mending
This workshop has limited capacity to ensure focused instruction and tickets are first-come-first serve. ✨ All skill levels welcome
Discover the beauty of sashiko, a traditional Japanese stitching technique that blends utility with artistry. In this 2.5-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how sashiko can be used not only to mend and preserve well-loved garments, but also to create new, handmade pieces full of texture, meaning, and intention.
Rooted in sustainability and slow fashion, sashiko and visible mending offer a mindful way to reconnect with our clothes and reduce waste while celebrating the value of craft. Whether you're patching a hole or planning a new project, you’ll leave with the skills to stitch with purpose and creativity.
