Spike Island Tour

The Insurance Institute of Cork is excited to invite members and their families to an unforgettable visit to Spike Island, one of Ireland's most remarkable Heritage destinations.

Step back in time as we explore the island's fascinating history, from its monastic beginnings to its role as a military fortress and later as one of the world's largest prisons. Highlights include the iconic Fort Mitchel, heritage exhibitions, former prison blocks and breath-taking views across Cork Harbour.

To round off the day, attendees can enjoy finger food and refreshments as well as further networking at The Last Drop, Cobh, just a short walk from the ferry terminal.
