Cameraless Animation Workshop (Celluloid) #2

Join us in January at The Holloway for a hands-on, cameraless animation workshop where you can paint, scratch, and draw directly onto 16mm film. This engaging session welcomes participants of all ages to explore the tactile world of celluloid in a relaxed atmosphere, with no prior experience needed. Your finished creation will be showcased in a live projection at the end of the workshop.

This workshop will be led by experimental filmmaker and cine specialist Jacob Watkinson, who uses the manipulation of celluloid heavily in his film practice. Jacob is also the founder of EFEA (Experimental Film East Anglia), a festival dedicated to promoting bold and innovative film work in the East of England.
