Kingsley Aikins

Kingsley Aikins Our host and MC for the event will be "guru of global philanthropy", renowned expert networker and CEO of The Networking Institute, Kingsley Aikins, who believes strongly in the power of networking and has developed a methodology that shows professional business people how to survive and thrive by building strong and diverse networks. Born and brought up in Dublin, Kingsley has had an extensive career of working in Trade Promotion, Philanthropy and Diaspora Engagement. Having lived and worked in six different countries, Kingsley became passionate about the importance of networking and his mission to this day is to teach networking skills that schools, colleges and companies simply do not. Kingsley has been published extensively for his insights and has spoken at events such as TEDx. He was awarded a CBE for his work on British Irish relations and is also involved in many other non-profit bodies.

Orlaith Ryan

Orlaith Ryan | Orlaith Ryan Co-Founder, CTO and board member of Shorla Oncology

Orlaith Ryan is Co-Founder, CTO and board member of Shorla Oncology (‘Shorla’) a Ireland-US development and commercial speciality pharmaceutical company. The company has an innovative pipeline of oncology treatments that address key unmet needs and deliver a significant contribution to patient care. Four of the company’s oncology treatments are on the US market. Orlaith is a Chartered scientist and holds an MSc in Regulatory Affairs from the University of Wales, BSc in Applied Biology with Quality Management from Waterford Institute of Technology (now SETU) and a Certificate in Corporate Governance from INSEAD. Orlaith has over 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry including R & D, quality and regulatory affairs. Prior to founding Shorla, Orlaith led the regulatory affairs function at EirGen Pharma (later acquired by OPKO Health Inc.). Orlaith is an assessor for the Science Council UK, and Module Leader for The Organisation of Professional’s in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) MSc Programme.

Michael McCambridge

Michael McCambridge is Managing Director of McCambridge, a third-generation, family-owned business founded in 1945 and proudly celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. Specialising in traditional Irish bread and mixes, McCambridge has grown into a leading SME in the food manufacturing sector, employing 50 people across two sites in Dublin 24. Under Michael’s leadership, the company has become the market leader in the Irish Traditional Bread category, with a strong focus on LEAN operations and category management driven by customer feedback and market insight. Since joining the business in 1994, Michael has played a central role in its continued growth and innovation. He also serves as a board member of Love Irish Food, and in 2023 was named a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards in the Established Business category — recognition of his commitment to excellence in Irish food production.

Caroline Keeling

Caroline Keeling | Caroline Keeling Non-Executive Director & Former CEO of Keelings

Caroline Keeling is a Non-Executive Director, and former CEO of Keelings, one of the largest fruit and vegetable distributor in Ireland and Globally, a family-owned business dating back to the 1920s. Now focusing full-time on her own investment company, CBA Ventures, which is investing in Digital and Nutritional Healthcare. Caroline also brings her expertise to a number of Commercial and Philanthropic CEOs. She is the Chair of BEATS Medical, National Council member of IBEC and Board Member of The EI Leadership 4 Growth (L4G). Beyond her corporate roles, Caroline is actively involved in philanthropy. She is a Board Member of the Ifrah Foundation, Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, and Valid Nutrition, supporting initiatives in social enterprise and global nutrition. Outside of business, she has represented Ireland in the Polo World Cup.

NOMINATED CHARITY - Ronald McDonald House Charities Ireland

Childhood illness changes everything for a family. The Ronald McDonald House provides a home and support to families when caring for their seriously ill child in hospital on a long-term basis. They strive to alleviate the practical, financial and emotional burdens placed on parents’ shoulders to allow them to spend as much quality time with their sick child and to focus on what really matters – FAMILY.
