Thinking about buying a cargo bike? Come on down to discover whether it’s right for you and your family. Meet other parents who have a cargo bike and chat about how it works for them, what their kids think of it, which style (long tail or front loader) will work best for your family and what are the costs of owning one.

Have you already got a cargo bike?  Do come by and say hello and share your experience with other families. With more school streets and cycle lanes than ever before, they are becoming the most efficient way to transport your family. 

Complimentary test rides will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. We will have two options to try out within the perimeters of the Meadowbank Park, two forms of ID will be required (Passport, Driving Licence, Utility Bill) Helmets for both adults and children will be available or please bring your own

We will have the owners of the cargo bikes on hand to answer any questions as well as the experts from The Cycle Collective. Here are some of the questions we can answer for you.

The event is free, but we recommend registering in advance—you’ll also receive a voucher for free cookie for each member of the family at the café!
