China’s leadership has pursued a strategy of innovation-driven development and has sought to leverage the potential of the internet, big data and artificial intelligence. The policy initiatives that were embraced by a creative generation of entrepreneurs and a large consumer appetite have brought international acknowledgment to Beijing as a national sci-tech innovation centre and emerging powerhouse in smart technology.

The Asian Banker is proud to announce The Beijing Innovation Tour, from 21-23 May, 2018. This is a three-day programme for senior and chief executives in financial institutions, start-ups, innovators, and investors to learn the latest trends in technology and financial services industry organized in conjunction with the Future of Finance Summit 2018.

The tour will feature visits to the two largest internet companies in Beijing: Baidu and JD.com; two of the world’s top ten unicorns – DidiChuxing, China’s Uber and Meituan-Dianping, China’s largest on-demand services mobile provider. Also, the tour includes Beijing Zhongguancun Software Park Incubator, China Construction Bank’s Innovation Laboratory, AiBank, China’s first direct bank and CreditEase, a national leader in wealth management.
