The 2020 AIDPH Colloquium: Confronting Inequity through Oral Health Policy

Welcome to the fourth annual Colloquium, Confronting Inequity Through Oral Health Policy, an annual meeting hosted by the American Institute of Dental Public Health (AIDPH). Our colloquium promotes public health scholarship to dental public health practitioners, academicians, educators, advanced education students, dental public health residents, and advocates. The colloquia encourage participant engagement to address existing public health issues, expanding the evidence base in dental public health scholarship.

AIDPH has created a diverse agenda of nationally-known speakers, thought leaders, and workshop facilitators. This event emphasizes a high level of engagement and interaction for participants to discuss applications of concepts in an interprofessional setting. New to this year's event, is an opening reception for participants to grow new connections and strengthen established relationships during these sessions.

Oral health inequities in the United States are profound and endemic. The American Institute of Dental Public Health, in partnership with the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, has designed this colloquium to showcase provocative and timely topics that galvanize attendees toward driving change. We know it takes an entire community working to identify, create, and implement solutions.
