TEDxToronto Circles: A New Era

TEDxToronto Circles will be hosted each month where participants will be welcomed in a larger group before forming in breakout rooms for the session to discuss curated TED Talks on April's topic - A New Era.

This month’s theme is "A New Era"

The past may shape us, but it does not define us. At any point in our lives, we can reimagine and reinvent ourselves in an endless number of ways.

Society has primed us to put ourselves in categories: it’s how we develop a sense of identity and find a way to relate to others. But when we find that those categories no longer serve us, it can be difficult to break out of the box.

What limitations are we placing on ourselves? How can we break free of them? When we feel like we’re in a rut, how do we get “unstuck”?

These and many such questions will take center stage when the TEDxToronto Circles community meets to discuss our theme this month: A New Era.

TEDxToronto will be hosting TEDxToronto Circles each month to help you share your perspective and learn with others. These will be intimate virtual sessions that provide room for diving into in-depth dialogue on a relevant TED Talk each month.
