TEDxBath Inter-Connected 2021
We live in a world which gets smaller every day; travel is faster, language barriers are coming down, and cultural traditions are shared. Our lives are inter-connected like never before, creating the potential for the ideas in our local communities to be informed by global expertise, and for our global issues to be understood, measured, influenced and resolved by actions taken locally.
TEDxBath Inter-Connected will explore how our community can thrive through the endless possibilities of local and global inter-connections. The event will be seeking, exploring and sharing powerful ideas with the potential to inspire positive change, both locally and internationally.
The event itself will be a two evening hybrid event at Bath Spa University’s Locksbrook campus; on 18th & 19th November (18:30-21:00). The in-person event for select attendees will feature streamed pre-recorded talks from speakers, live talks from select speakers, and a live Q&A. Standard virtual tickets will provide digital access to a live stream of the entire event, allowing our event to be Covid-secure.
TEDxBath Inter-Connected 2021will be streamed in multiple languages, including: English, Mandarin, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and British Sign.

Bath has always been a city informed by its international influences: from its Roman Baths, Norman cathedral and Palladian architecture, to ideas and innovations from its residents, migrants, visitors and tourists. Today, it is a city with a truly global identity: a World Heritage City, businesses and universities with international programmes, and global role models in sports, science, and the arts.
So how can Bath’s community thrive through the endless possibilities of local and global inter-connections? At TEDxBath 2021 we will be seeking, exploring and sharing powerful ideas with the potential to inspire positive change, both locally and internationally.
