3D Printing & Wearable Design

Exercise designer muscles with this hands-on 3D Printing class. Dive into how to use a 3D software program on a computer to design objects. Design, prototype and create custom objects for everyday use by problem solving—form will follow function as well as fun. Students will also learn about wearable design to create a project using soft circuits.

Stephen Colon, Counselor, is a recent graduate of UConn with experience in training and leading youths of varying ages through programs such as EMS, BSA, and Relay for Life. While his bachelor degree falls under the umbrella of the biological sciences, he has spent a considerable amount of time learning to code and has worked on a handful of front-end projects.
