TechMeetup Inverness March 2026

What is TechMeetup?

TechMeetup is a monthly gathering for Scotland’s tech community. It’s a friendly, informal event where anyone interested in technology can meet, learn, and share. Each event includes free drinks, pizza, and time to connect with others. The meetup is organised by volunteers from within the community.

All are welcome! Whether you're a seasoned professional, just tech-curious, or somewhere in between, TechMeetup Inverness is for you.

New to our events? We're glad to have you! Hoping to connect, learn, or share what you know? You're in the right place. Reserve your spot as space is limited.

Schedule

6:30 PM - Welcome & Networking (enjoy some pizza!)

  • Meet fellow enthusiasts, grab a bite, and get set for an evening of sharing and discovery.

7:00 PM - Featured Talk: From a Small Island to a Global Community

  • Join Milly Tamati, founder of Generalist World, who started building a global community from a small Scottish island.
  • In this talk, Milly will share how she created Generalist World from scratch — growing an idea into an international network for curious, multidisciplinary thinkers and builders.
  • She’ll discuss the practical steps behind starting something with no audience, no funding, and no clear roadmap, and how momentum, community, and experimentation helped turn it into a thriving platform.
  • Core Subjects: Community building, entrepreneurship, starting from zero.

8:00 PM - Event Wrap-Up

  • Keen to continue the conversation? We'll head nearby for informal discussions.

Join us for an inspiring evening of tech, networking, and community spirit! 🚀
