A Female Founders Event Series by TOA & Google for Startups

"YOU DON'T NEED TO CALL ME A FEMALE FOUNDER"

A frank, open discussion about the “women in tech” movement. While it’s great that more companies are bringing awareness (and funding) to these programs, we have to ask if this push to help women is actually closing the gender gap? Or if companies are just exploiting the cause to improve their public image. What best practices can companies follow to ensure that they are creating real change for women?

This is a Town Hall format which means that we want to hear from YOU about how to improve the Women in Tech movement. Come ready to ask questions, share experiences and voice opinions!

It’s (finally) Our Turn!

A Female Founders Event Series by TOA & Google for Startups

We recognise that there are lots of programs out there with the aim of encouraging female entrepreneurship but at Google for Startups & TOA we want to go further to create tangible changes for women. For the past two years 40% of TOA’s audience has been female and we’ve been actively engaging these participants with special workshops, panels and satellite events to encourage more women to step into the startup world. Over the next six months TOA & Google for Startups will work together to improve the women in tech movement, help female entrepreneurs access more capital and build a network with real benefits.

Please note that venue capacity is limited and entry will be on a first come, first served basis.
