Data Science: The art of the possible, or technological solutionism?

In the midst of digitalisation, data science emerged as a discipline that is expanding the boundaries of the possible for many businesses. On the other hand, however, there is a rising critique that this discipline merely offers facile technological solutions to complex economic challenges.

In order to shed light on this debate, BIG PICTURE GmbH creates a panel for an open discussion among the experts of data science discipline; and allows them to review the new possibilities and unrealistic assumptions that exist towards the data science discipline.

The moderated panel discussion will be followed by the second part of the event, when the participants will be given a possibility to interact with the panellists in the Q&A session.

A networking part of the satellite event will conclude the meeting.
