The fine art of model making has been expanding in various fields for the last decades, thanks to new technologies like CAD, CAM and CNC and 3D Printing. These techniques have been implemented continuously in the work process at werk5. Now the robotic has arrived and will offer new solutions and methods of model making. Digital planning and production will be pursued in a new kind of digital, robot-based mounting technique, which will enable totally new products.
