Data Science | FinTech Hackathon

Hey TOA team, we would like to host a hackathon targeted at the data science and FinTech communities, using a public data set with quasi real-time financial data from a large, globally operating financial institution. We would like to involve this institution in the hackathon since we were involved in developing this data set together with it. We will have 2 challenges for the participants to solve and prices for the winners and there will be plenty of good food and beverages to support the hackers in their creative endeavours. We are aiming to have 15-25 participants and are currently in discussion with our financial partner but already wanted to know if that concept sounds interesting to you. We would be extremely excited to see what kind of use cases the data science and FinTech communities would come up with by using this data set. Hackathons are a good and interactive way to engage smart people to generate innovate and creative solutions and TOA seems the perfect place for that Cheers, Alex
