Freelance Story Sessions: The Rise of the Indie Pro v2.0

Hosted by Freelance Friday Berlin.

After the success of our ‘Freelance Story Night’ event last year, we invite you to join the Freelance Friday and CloudPeeps community for a day-time edition in 2018 with ‘Freelance Story Sessions’.

The special topic for TOA will be on 'The Rise of the Indie Pro v2.0'. Hear from a panel about their journey in taking their indie business to the next level, and how they manage to overcome the challenges of freelancing. We'll also have plenty of time for questions and networking.

// SPEAKERS // Our host for the event will be Kat Loughrey, organizer of Freelance Friday and an Australian indie pro based in Berlin. With over 10 years experience within communications and marketing as a digital communications consultant, she’s a passionate advocate in supporting others to take the leap, as she herself quit the 9-to-5 life, sold all her belongings and moved overseas in less than 6 weeks to embrace a remote work and freelancing lifestyle. She’s also the Social Media Lead at CloudPeeps. @KatLoughrey

Annika Reinhardt is a remote negotiation and compensation professional, co-founder of Talent Collective and city organizer of Freelance Friday Vancouver. She is passionate about building competitive compensation programs for growing technology enabled businesses. She's sought after by large organizations like BC Hydro, Unbounce, and Kwantlen University for her facilitation skills and ensures that operations at the Talent Collective run smoothly. @talentlove

Zack Young is a digital leader and seasoned entrepreneur with over 12 years of global technology and business experience at both multinational organisations and startups. He’s a digital nomad, one of the first eResidents of Estonia, and Managing Partner at early stage strategy consulting and advisory, Digital Native Ventures. @ThisIsZackYoung
