Toronto Alumni Annual Dinner 2018

Join the TCD Alumni Ontario branch at the annual dinner on Saturday 10th November at the same location as last year, the Hot House Restaurant & Bar in Toronto. This is the branch's biggest gathering of the year and a great chance to meet old friends and make new ones.

Time: 6.30pm – Cocktails. Dinner to start at 8.00pm

Location: The Hot House Restaurant, 35 Church Street, Toronto

This informal venue is popular with many Irish groups and provides good food and service. We will have our own area, the Mezzanine - a large, open, and private section at the back of the restaurant - both for the cocktails and for the meal.

The price is $70.00 per person including coffee, tea and soft drinks as well as taxes and gratuity. Dress is respectably casual. Further details on the menu, parking/transport and the format for the evening can be found below.

Additional Information

Format: The cocktail period beforehand will be a cash bar for 1½ hr to allow for circulation of people for mixing, mingling, and networking. Seating will be an individual choice. There will be no head table or formal speaker. It is hoped that people will circulate to other tables between courses in order to meet more of those attending.

Parking & Transport: There is parking nearby the restaurant and it is close to public transit. Underground paid parking is available off of Church Street between King and Front at INDIGO. There is also a Green P Parking Lot at Church & Esplanade.

Menu: There will be a choice from several main courses (see below) ordered on the night, together with salad, desert and tea/coffee. Soft drinks are included in the price, but there will be an additional charge payable by individuals for non-alcoholic beverages such as juices and espresso based coffees. Wine and other drinks are not included and can be purchased separately on individual basis. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.
