Alumni Challenge Debate in Paris – Trinity vs Cambridge
"This House believes that the best is yet to come"
The Trinity College Dublin Society of Paris is challenging the Cambridge University Alumni Society of Paris to a debate this autumn, which will be hosted at the Irish Embassy at the kind invitation of HE Ambassador of Ireland to France and Trinity alumna Patricia O’Brien.
Date & Time: Thursday 10 October 2019, 7.00pm–8.45pm
Venue: Embassy of Ireland, 12 avenue Foch (entrance 4 rue Rude), 75116 Paris
The debate will be launched at 7.00pm, followed by drinks to conclude at 8:45 pm. The Trinity speakers will be Edward Donelan and Declan Mc Cavana, joined by special guest David Doyle. Tickets must be booked by Sunday 6th October. As the debate takes place in the Irish Embassy, members and guests must bring photographic ID in order to be admitted to the event.

Tickets are €20 per person for TCD alumni and their guests.
There is a discounted price of €10 per person for alumni or guests under 30 years of age.
Early booking is recommended as we anticipate that demand may exceed the number of places available.
The final date for booking your place is Sunday 6 October (unless all tickets are sold before this date), as the final list of participants has to be provided to the Embassy’s security staff on Monday 7 October.
