The TBA is delighted to announce that the 2017 TBA/MBA Masterclass will take place on Wednesday 15 March 2017. Investec Ireland CEO Michael Cullen will address a joint audience of TBA members and students of the MBA class on the topic of culture management.

Michael is CEO of Investec in Ireland, a Specialist Banking and Wealth & Investment Management business with 230 employees overseeing a business concentrating in Treasury Products, Corporate Finance, Institutional Equities, Prime Brokerage activities, and Wealth and Investment.

Michael has over 35 years’ experience in the Financial Markets having held senior roles within ICC and Citibank prior to taking the role of CEO of Gandon Securities Limited in 1990 (the first institution to obtain a licence to operate from Dublin’s International Financial Services Centre) where he moved the business from a proprietary trading entity to a funds management, structured finance and customer foreign exchange business. In April 2000 Investec purchased Gandon and began operation as a branch of Investec Bank plc with Michael as CEO. In 2012 Investec purchased NCB, a leading Stockbroker and Wealth Manager.

Michael graduated with a Master’s in Business Studies from UCD and is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He is also a Certified Bank Director with Institute of Bankers and a Chartered Director with the Institution of Directors.
