Vancouver Island Alumni Branch – Summer Gathering and AGM 2018
The Trinity Alumni Branch in Vancouver Island is holding their annual summer get-together this June. They have reserved an outdoor patio with a great view. Family are welcome to attend the gathering; everyone is welcome to arrive from 2pm onward. The Pub will be available for those who may wish to stay longer. Guests can retreat indoors should the weather not cooperate!

Getting There: The Brentwood Bay Resort Pub is an easy walk from the Mill Bay-Brentwood Bay ferry terminal, so those who live Up-Island could avoid the Malahat drive and come over as walk-on passengers. There is a ferry which leaves Mill Bay at 1:50 pm and arrives at 2:15pm; for return, there are ferries at 4:10 and 5:20 pm. The cost for walk-on at the weekend is $4.10 each way if you purchase tickets in advance (at Thrifty Foods in Mill Bay), a roughly 40% reduction from the regular fare. Local alumni report that people park their cars on Mill Bay Road above the ferry without problem. The resort also has plenty of parking.
Those attending will order from the group menu but will be provided with individual bills.

(A) The positions of President and Treasurer are up for re-election. The incumbents, Mary and William Pike, have agreed to put their names forward but we would welcome other nominations.
(B) Membership renewal:- The dues will remain at $20 per annum and should be paid to our treasurer, William Pike.
