13th JL Synge Public Lecture - The Birth of the Universe

The School of Mathematics in Trinity College Dublin cordially invite you to the Thirteenth John Lighton Synge Public Lecture, entitled 'the Birth of the Universe' by Professor George Efstathiou FRS.

George Efstathiou is Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge. He was appointed as the first Director of the Kavli Institute for Cosmology.

A wine reception will follow the lecture in the O'Reilly Foyer.
