Rhymes & Reflections

The School of Physics invites delegates to ‘Schrödinger at 75 – The Future of Biology’ to a pre-conference session in the historic Schrödinger Theatre.
Prompted by Schrödinger’s interest in poetry, this event will consist of readings of poems from his collection ‘Gedichte’ published in 1949, and of poems with a biology theme written by contemporary Irish poets.

The poetry is interspersed with short prose reflections on his Dublin days.
Seating is limited to 120 so early registration is advisable.
The reading starts at 17.00 and will be followed by a reception in the Old Library at 18.00
