Swarm Workshop 2025 | “Programming tools for decentralized intelligence and swarms”

Members of the swarms community are to meet on Wed 26 and Thu 27 November 2025 in Brussels for a workshop co-organised by the European Commission.

It is to discuss intermediate results of the projects of the Swarm Intelligence cluster and beyond. The workshop is to take stock of the progress of the swarms technologies and to discuss the horizontal aspects of the cluster such as architectures, standardization and interoperability, platform building, open source, market insights, communications and dissemination. In the same time, it is to be focused on the priority sectors such as energy, mobility/transport logistics and industrial/manufacturing.

The workshop is to bring together research project representatives, experts and stakeholders to discuss the results of the ongoing synergistic efforts and to delineate future directions of the computing continuum as well as priority actions for the actors involved. Participants of the workshop include coordinators all five swarms projects, representatives of other related projects, project review experts and other members of the swarms community.
