Introduction to coaching
Wherever we are in our careers, we sometimes feel isolated when we face challenges and opportunities. It's frustrating to see our friends and peers go through this, but we're often reluctant to coach or mentor them through their challenges because we think
- we're not experienced enough to know the answer,
- we don't know how to help, and
- we're afraid that we'll give the wrong advice
Our 1-day workshop will teach you how to create a safe space for coaching, set you up with structure and practices to make the process easier, and give you some tips to get the most out of your coaching. Don't worry if that sounds intimidating, we'll be there to help and guide you along the way.
Timings
The workshop starts at 9:30am and finishes at 5pm. We'll have a long, relaxed lunch where we can carry on conversations from the morning.
Code of conduct
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We have a code of conduct which all attendees and organisers are expected to adhere to.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
