D&AM SIG Event: Digital on a Shoestring, Automation and Control Systems

Join us for our DAM SIG event on 20th June 2019 from 08.30 – 13.00 at the Barclays Eagle Lab in Cranfield.

In addition to two fantastic speakers the day will feature a “Digital on a Shoestring” workshop, organised by Cambridge University’s Institute for Manufacturing, run by IfM’s Liz Salter.

The aim of the Digital on a Shoestring programme is to create a suite of open-source automation and digitalisation programmes to aid SMEs with their daily operations. The workshop is designed to get the views of SMEs on their requirements and wishes so that the right programmes can be developed.
