In collaboration with Barclays, this Business Growth event will provide a powerful insight into how businesses in different stages of development encounter and overcome growth challenges.
Join us for this morning event to hear the stories of various advanced engineering entrepreneurs, learning from them and various business growth experts, on how to take your company to the next level and ultimately successfully exit.
This event will take the format of an open forum panel discussion, led by scale-up guru Shai Vyakarnam. Shai will undoubtedly share with us his vast experience in helping numerous businesses grow and succeed and, under his expert guidance, we will also hear from two emerging companies with ambitious growth plans and potential as Chris Kirby of Tomorrow’s Journey and Paul North from Illuminis join the panel and relate their experiences of the start-up phase.
More mature businesses will also be represented as we will further be joined by KWSP founder Kieron Salter as well as Simon Dowson from Delta Motorsport. Kieron and Simon have both done a great job growing their businesses from humble beginnings to well-operating and successful outfits, and they too will be on the panel to share their insights into not only how they got to where they are now, but also how they foresee overcoming the challenges that lay ahead still.
Last but certainly not least, we will also address the end of the journey; successfully exiting a business after building it up to a certain level. Joining the panel to represent this stage is Jon Hilton, the ex-Renault F1 engineer who has successfully built up the KERS technology company Flybrid before selling this on to a larger group. With Jon’s wealth of experience, his insights will prove fascinating and insightful.
