Tutorials

IoT from Scratch with Robert Queenin

Learn to build a simple IoT sensor from start to finish based on the cheap ESP8266 running micropython. Learn how to flash firmware, connect to wifi, read a sensor, read the sensor data from another ESP8266 over the internet, and plot the sensor data.

Robert adds: If people have their own parts or projects or questions I'm happy to help them.

Sunpower FOSS Hackathon with Mark Mikofski

Learn about SunPower foss projects! Mark will discuss
- Carousel: https://sunpower.github.io/Carousel/
- UncertaintyWrapper: https://sunpower.github.io/UncertaintyWrapper/

Carousel is a framework for simulating mathematical models that decouples the models from the simulation implementation. Attendees can complete the Carousel Tutorial and get help when they get stuck or discuss how to contribute to Sunpower.
